Account Manager – Manchester/Hybrid Working – Up to £38k
On behalf of our growing client, we are recruiting for experienced Account Managers. As Account Manager, you will service clients under the direction of the PR Account Director, and ensure the team does the same, as well as assist the Account Director by managing all account executives to a high level and making sure all work and targets are delivered.
The Account Manager will be responsible for:
- Be the day-to-day contact for clients, responsible for updating them on the progress of their account
- Flag any client issues to the Account Director or Company Director
- Act as quality control for content and copy, ensuring all copy provided to clients and journalists is of a flawless standard
- Monitor results vs. targets, flagging any possibility of under-delivery to the Account Director with recommendations as to how this can be resolved
- Ensure Junior Account Executives, Account Executives and Senior Account Executives work within the PR and social media plans and strategies are delivered to a high standard, to budget and deadline
- Determine the course of action for the whole account team for PR strategies, setting timescales/deadlines and create detailed, clear activity plans as a result
The Account Manager will have the following:
- Have a thorough understanding of the services offered through close agency partners, including SEO, PPC and design, and be able to explain these to existing and prospective clients
- Ability to write PR and social media proposals to a high level
- Represent the agency, always presenting a professional and informed outlook
- Ability to manage their own workload and that of the team of executives thoroughly and effectively
- Verbal presentation skills will be of a high standard
- Written English, accuracy, and ability to structure press releases will be flawless
