Android Mobile Developer
We seek a skilled Android Mobile Developer to join our client's Mobile team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our Android and iOS applications. Working within an Agile framework, you will deliver innovative and robust solutions, ensuring our software is flexible, reliable, efficient, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a diverse scrum team to produce high-quality software.
- Convert product and architecture requirements into code with accurate timeframes and delivery estimates.
- Ensure top-notch code quality by adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Maintain various applications and services to support our platform.
- Stay proficient in multiple mobile development technologies, coding languages, and disciplines.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong experience in Java and Kotlin.
- Proficient with Android SDK and frameworks such as Android Jetpack.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend integration.
- Knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understand Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with performance and memory optimisation using tools like Android Studio Profiler.
- Familiar with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Proficient in code versioning tools like Git.
- Experience with iOS development is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, development processes, and methodologies.
- Experience delivering complex software solutions in an Agile setting.
