BI Developer – Manchester - £40K
Adria Solutions Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Business Intelligence Developer with SQL Server experience to join a thriving global company based near Manchester. Working with the agile data management team you will be responsible for creating innovative reports and dashboards.
The daily duties of the BI Developer will include but not be limited to:
• Migration of an existing IBM MI/BI stack to SSRS
• Consolidate existing reports into a new online BI portal
• Work with key stakeholders to identify areas to be automated
• Assist with research and development of innovative solutions based on new technologies
• Work closely with the business to ensure GDPR compliance
Required knowledge & experience:
• MS SQL Server Reporting Services (Ideally 2016 +)
• Experience of a similar role working in a BI/Data Management team
• SQL Data Warehouses & SQL Server for data extraction
• Able to build reports and dashboards from code to output
• Ability to manage own workload
• Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
Desirable skills:
• Experience working with IBM Cognos Analytics
• Experience of working with AWS
• Experience working with SSAS and SSIS
• Experience of working with Power BI
• Experience working within an Agile SCRUM environment
• Understanding of change control processes
