BI Developer – Manchester/Hybrid Working - Up to £50k
On behalf of our well-established client based in Urmston, we are recruiting for a talented BI Developer. As BI Developer you will develop and support the BI strategy to a high standard, meeting overall business requirements as well as effectively reporting all progress and achieving project deadlines when assigned.
The BI Developer will be responsible for:
- Investigating and collating information that can be potentially used by our client.
- Evaluate, utilise, and leverage data collected from multiple data sources to provide analytical insight.
- Design, create and evolve the BI systems to deliver MI and CRM data to all areas of the business
- Create and update technical documentation and follow business processes
The BI Developer will have the following:
- Strong SQL knowledge and the ability to write complex stored procedures and views.
- Strong DAX knowledge.
- Azure Data factory experience.
- Understanding of normalised data models and dimensional data models.
- Power BI developer experience.
- Understand the ETL process.
- Experience with GIT and Azure DevOps.
- Good documentation skills and the ability to relay complex data processes into layman’s terms.
