Brand Manager - £45-£55k - Stockport
Adria Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to join our client based in Stockport, due to them experiencing extensive investment to fulfil the company’s future growth. As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness and increasing the brand's market share and product sales.
The duties of the Brand Manager will include:
- Achieve financial and market share targets for a portfolio of branded products in multiple retail channels
- Develop consumer and shopper understanding to be able to offer a tailored approach to UK consumers/retailers and to use this understanding to influence decisions both internally and externally.
- Work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, and the Buying, Sales, Artwork & Design, Supply chain and technical teams to ensure that all new product development projects for the portfolio meet brand, category, and business objectives, and are delivered complete to a high standard and meet deadlines
- Understand market competitiveness and objectives, and translate the understanding into a comprehensive portfolio strategy, including the development of quantified and measurable marketing and brand plans, communication plans, and new product initiatives.
- Input into retailer-specific marketing calendars
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of Strategic Marketing
- Strong commercial acumen, as well as the ability to think creatively
- Solid understanding of consumer and customer needs within the UK retail market
- Able to manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects simultaneously, in a collaborative manner
- Excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Experience in brand management and/or trade marketing with a business development focus
