Business Development Manager – Stockport – Up to £35k + Commission

On behalf of our growing client based in Stockport, we are recruiting for a motivated Business Development Manager. As Business Development Manager, you will work across both public and private sectors where you will be given free rein to target new business from SME to Enterprise level.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing new business opportunities through call targets, existing clients, networking and digital marketing.
  • Tracking your leads through CRM
  • Pursuing leads to generate 3 sales meetings per week
  • Closing business and managing the after-sales process
  • Working closely with the team to ensure a smooth handover
  • Managing client expectations
  • Managing client billing and keeping on top of payments
  • On-going client management to win upsell business / cross-channel business and new business referrals


  • Up to £35k basic with a 10% commission on ad hoc projects and 10% on all retainers in year 1.
  • Early Friday finishes
  • Health benefit scheme after 1 year
  • Flexible working - 3 days WFH, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the office
  • Quarterly team nights out - all paid for by the company
