C# Developer – Chester / Remote – Up to £40k

On behalf of our well-established client, we are looking for a talented ASP.NET(C#) developer to join their team.
The Developer will be required to:
- Maintain existing web applications with SOLID and scalable architecture
- Identify, investigate, and implement novel solutions to satisfy client requirements
- Implementation and customisation of open source / commercial CMS products (typically Umbraco)
- Ensure web applications meet current web standards & accessibility requirements
- Ongoing development of existing applications
- Using Jira Ticket Desk to manage your workload and provide updates on tickets in flight.
- Liaising with Frontend Developers and Designers to ensure constraints and functionality requirements are met where necessary
The successful Developer will have knowledge and/or experience of the following.
- Minimum of 3 years web development experience
- Knowledge of common software engineering patterns
- Proficient knowledge of ASP.Net (C#)
- Proficient knowledge of MSSQL/TSQL
- Experience using XML, XSLT, XPATH etc.
- Experience using Visual Studio
- Experience of industry best practices e.g. general MSDN code compliance
- Experience of using version control systems preferable GIT and standard GIT branching models
