Data Analyst – Manchester – Up to £70K
On behalf of our industry-leading client based near Manchester, we are recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst. As Data Analyst, you will develop further on the existing data warehouse, and provide insights for the commercial teams to develop new and existing customers.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for:
- Maintain and develop data warehouse capability whilst providing commercially beneficial insights from it using Power BI.
- Development of KPI reporting tools and analysis of performance against these.
- Maintain billing infrastructure and further develop its capability.
- Responsibility for supplier commission calculation process and integration of new products as they come online.
- Weekly/monthly real-time forecasting as well as full-year and 12-month adjustments.
- Ad-hoc commercial analysis in relation to pricing, operating costs and any other analysis as required
The Data Analyst will have the following:
- Demonstrable strong theoretical understanding of data models and their application.
- Microsoft Power BI and excel – advanced level user.
- Experienced working with SQL.
- Demonstrable experience of recognising and communicating commercial opportunities essential.
- Ability to present to and influence stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
