Data Architect - Manchester
On behalf of our industry-leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for an experienced Data Architect. As Data Architect you will be responsible for articulating designs to the architecture and development teams and then in return communicating the technical solution back to the business stakeholders.
The duties of a Data Architect will include:
- Maintain an Enterprise view of data consumption and production
- Develop technical capabilities to forward Enterprise Data Technologies
- Provide data expertise into the Service Delivery Function that supports the group’s core applications
- Support developers in delivering technical solutions to the common approach to data and a common data model.
- Always ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations
- Design and produce any necessary documentation to enable the company to effectively utilize its data
The Data Architect will have the following:
- Great understanding of BI Technologies including data-warehousing and analytics
- Understanding of data management techniques
- Experience in enterprise data architecture
- Azure, Data Lake V2, Data Factory, Synapse Warehouse, Data Bricks, Cosmos, Analysis Services.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft reporting and Data management environments
- Experience in analysis and architectural modelling & documentation techniques including Entity Relationship Diagrams and design specifications, and the ownership of those solutions through to delivery.
- Knowledge of .NET Development
- Strong stakeholder skills capable of influencing clients and selling the capability of the team in a client-vendor relationship
