Data Governance Manager – Remote – Up to £60k

Adria solutions Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for a data governance manager to join a global organisation on a remote basis.
The duties of the data governance manager will include but not be limited to:
- Participating in development and design architecture
- Managing and developing data pipelines, reports, and dashboards with Power BI, SQL, DAX, and PowerQuery
- Publishing and managing workspaces, dataflows, datasets, reports, dashboards and apps within PowerBI
- Contributing to SQL development on SQL Server
- Reviewing and applying best practice security controls to PowerBI and SQL Server
- Testing and validating reports to ensure accuracy and quality
- Automating or increasing efficiency of existing reports
- Providing technical expertise regarding the unique features and constraints of Power BI and related technologies
- Providing best practice recommendations relating to deployments and usage of Power BI and related technologies
- Leading a team of report writers and Business Analysts
- Collaborating with various departments to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
- Designing and developing dashboards and reporting solutions for the analysis of senior management
The successful data governance manager will have the following skills and/or experience:
- Previous experience leading a small team required
- Must have experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform
- Must have experience with PowerBI development and security
- Advanced DAX, PowerQuery, and SQL skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft SSRS and Microsoft SSIS
- Experience setting up PowerBI and PowerBI datasets required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
