Database Developer (SQL) – Daresbury/Hybrid Working – Up to £50k
On behalf of our growing client based in Daresbury, we are recruiting for a talented Database Developer. As a Database Developer, you will support the design, development, and execution of large data projects.
The Database Developer will be responsible for:
- Working on systems integration projects with many large clients
- Design and testing.
- The creation of automated extraction, transformation and loading of data into systems such as CRM, ERP or Data Lake platforms.
- Support the design, development, and execution of large data projects
- Opportunity to design and implement data warehousing models, data vaults and data lakes.
The Database Developer will have the following:
- Basic Extract, Transform & Load (ETL).
- Querying, aggregation, and transformation of data using SQL.
- Writing stored procedures, scalar / table-based functions including the use of the system and local variables.
- An understanding of relational database principles
- Having good .NET C# and/or Java programming skills will be advantageous
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as the successful candidate will need to communicate with clients on a regular basis
