Database System Administrator – Hybrid Working – Up to £55k
On behalf of our growing client based in Horsham, we are recruiting for a talented Database System Administrator. The Database System Administrator will be responsible for all back-office systems, server virtualisation and infrastructure.
The Database System Administrator will be responsible for:
- Monitor and maintain all mission-critical infrastructure, systems and applications
- Help define the IT Systems Services strategy and promote continuous improvement of systems, virtualization, and infrastructure
- Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to develop solutions to meet company goals and objectives
- Ensure that all backup and disaster recovery services are documented, maintained and tested on a regular basis
- Define and implement processes and procedures for supporting all departments and business units across the organization
- Create, maintain, and continually improve upon all systems services processes and documentation.
The Database System Administrator will have the following:
- Strong professional or technical experience in IT systems, servers, and infrastructure with a strong background in all aspects of customer service.
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration, and Exchange/Office365 Administration.
- Skilled with back-office systems, infrastructure, technologies, and equipment including but not limited to Windows, Exchange/Exchange 365, SAN & Storage, and Dell/HP Servers.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, etc.
