DevOps Engineer – Manchester - Circa £60,000
Adria Solutions Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join our market leading client in Manchester. This is an exciting and rewarding new role for a talented DevOps Engineer you will help grow the telephony platform in Azure hosted infrastructure.
The duties of the DevOps Engineer will include but not be limited to:
• Involved in defining and technically delivering a DevOps implementation for Infrastructure provisioning, configuration and automation
• Implementing DevOps tools for monitoring and performance management
• Owning & resolving production issues
• Working within an ISO and PCI complaint environment and ensuring high security standards are maintained
• Reducing incidents through process and training of existing team members
• Reporting directly to head of Development Operations Manager
• Investigating issue trends and devising solutions
Essential skills & requirements:
• Prior DevOps Experience
• Azure (IaaS and PaaS)
• Strong scripting (PowerShell) skills
• Windows Administration and basic database administration tasks
• Understanding of networks and network technology
• Security and compliance focused
Desiable skills:
• Linux experience
• SIP experience
• Git knowledge
