Digital Product Owner – Hybrid Working – Up to £70k
On behalf of our rapidly growing client based in South Manchester, we are recruiting for a talented Digital Product Owner. As Digital Product Owner, you will work within one of their agile delivery teams, taking day-to-day ownership and responsibility for the delivery and ongoing improvement of their customer-facing digital platforms.
The Digital Product Owner will be responsible for:
- Work with the Product Management team to define the product roadmap from a digital perspective, driving delivery of regular improvements to performance, usability, and customer experience
- Create and maintain a prioritised backlog based on business needs, data/analytics, customer feedback, competition, and stakeholder input
- Take an active role in their Product Owner community, collaborating and sharing product ownership/digital expertise with the wider group.
- Use customer research and data to create proof-of-concept prototypes (working with the wider Digital team) for user testing and iteration
- Create buy-in to solutions and approaches both internally and with key external partners
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer experience and market competition to identify and fill gaps, and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth across the business
The Digital Product Owner will have the following:
- A successful track record as a digital product owner in-house, taking customer-facing products from initial concept through to final delivery and evolving them further over time
- Solid understanding of UX/UI, development, optimization, analytics, and user research
- Experience working within an agile delivery model
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both in-person and in writing)
- Passion for researching, understanding, and delivering solutions for end customers
- Excellent stakeholder management
