Director of Data – Remote/Lancashire – Up to £900 per day
On behalf of our industry-leading client, we are recruiting for an exceptional Director of Data to join as part of a 6–9-month contract. As Director of Data, you will work with huge amounts of data and harness its untapped resource to power better outcomes, generate insights and support decision making.
The Director of Data will be responsible for:
- Deliver data roadmaps, strategies to help achieve business outcomes
- Build the people capability needed to deliver the Data Strategy
- Supporting teams of Data specialists through Servant leadership
- Architecting and shaping data to form a single source of truth, employing a Data Mesh approach, Code-Based Data Pipelines, and building and expanding on the Data Platform
- Fostering a culture of continual learning and experimentation
- Acting as a data ambassador sharing knowledge in the community and building an invaluable network of data experts
- Commercial management – working with Tech Procurement and Legal teams in relation to contracts with Data delivery partners
Benefits
- 6 – 9-month contract paying from £700 - £900 per day (Inside IR35)
- Remote working but must be willing to travel to their Lancashire office for occasional meetings
