Our client a pioneering fintech business looking to grow considerably in 2025 is currently looking for a Head of Data. As Head of Data, you’ll lead the modernisation of our data platforms and drive the company’s data strategy as they transition to a cloud-first infrastructure. You’ll build and manage a data team, oversee data governance, ensure platform reliability, and collaborate across departments to deliver impactful solutions and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking, cloud-first data strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing data team to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the company’s data strategy.
- Ensure data platforms are optimised for performance, security, and client needs.
- Integrate data processes with CI/CD pipelines to enhance product delivery.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies aligned with business goals.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in data strategy, governance, and team leadership.
- Expertise in public cloud infrastructure, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL platforms.
- Strong leadership experience, particularly in fintech or financial sectors.
- Ability to manage 24/7 operations and prioritise diverse projects.
