Head of Platform – Manchester / Remote Working - £70,000 - £90,000
Interviewing and onboarding for this role will be going ahead remotely while Covid-19 restrictions are in place.
On behalf of our growing client, we are looking for an experienced Head of Platform in Manchester. As Head of Platform you will lead a talented team of data scientists, back-and front-end engineers to build and maintain a data platform, API and web application, as well as facilitating the provision of data for our client's professional services work. Additionally you will be engaged in the day to day operations of the platform and work closely with the product manager to ensure customer and user requirements are actualised within the platform, alongside joining the senior management team to partake in the overall running of the business.
The Head of Platform will be required to:
• Provide a valuable service to internal customers
• Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment
• Validate requirements and system design
• Participate in full integration testing
• Ensure code paths are unit tested and defect free
• Build and implement front-end web applications that integrate with back-end services and third-party partners
