Head of UX and Design – Fully Remote – Up to £120k
On behalf of our leading client, we are recruiting for an exceptional Head of UX and Design. As Head of UX and Design, you will be leading a team of UX & Content Designers at different levels that are integrated into product, commercial and marketing teams, and support them in maximising their individual potential and driving an outstanding quality of work across the areas they are supporting.
The Head of UX and Design will be responsible for:
- Identify, develop, and articulate the appropriate outcomes, and UX goals to approach key Product & Tech initiatives
- Develop strong awareness of the business key products and services, customers, and the value-added through the business to them
- Develop the overall strategy to allow delivery through an agile environment in collaboration with the Delivery team
- Be the strategic designs systems leader responsible for delivering continuous support to Product, Delivery, and CRM teams
- Develop a thorough understanding of the current UX & Design team strengths and weaknesses and come up with proposals to help maximize team capacity, evolution, and productivity
- Create a culture of accountability, quality, agility, operational excellence, and high performance that will foster the attraction, development, and retention of excellent UX talent
The Head of UX and Design will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience working with technology companies, including UX people management and design systems leader
- Proven track records of leading critical programs across multiple areas of an organization ensuring strategic alignment between Product and Technology roadmaps
- A compelling leadership style that includes exceptional people, business and technology expertise with a style that inspires and demonstrates confidence
- Experience leading UX Design Systems, KPI, and UX Vision
- Previous experience in leadership roles working in a fast-paced environment
- A proven track record of defining design systems outcomes and then delivering on those to drive consistency and cohesion of the user experience
- Experience in the finance industry
