Information Security Analyst – Fully Remote – £50k
On behalf of our industry-leading client, we are recruiting for a talented Information Security Analyst. As an Information Security Analyst you will play a vital role within the Information Security team that is accountable for our client’s overall security posture, including all aspects of the information security management system, which includes security architecture, framework, and standards compliance.
The Information Security Analyst will have the following:
- Good working knowledge of the latest information technology security trends and emerging threats
- Experience in assessing risk, preferably supply chain, within a security or technology function
- Experience in common information security management frameworks and standards, such as ISO2700X, COBIT, PCI-DSS and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- An understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies and associated risks would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge of relevant data protection legislation would be of benefit (DPA, GDPR).
- Excellent report writing skills and the ability to present and articulate complex data in a clear and intuitive way
- Strong analytical skills to analyse security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls.
