Infrastructure Engineer - Birmingham - £50K
On behalf of our well-established client, we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support the firm's infrastructure and enterprise applications. The role will vary from routine monitoring and maintenance, to delivering new technology solutions.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be required to:
- Server hardware provisioning management, monitoring, and updates
- Storage provisioning, management, monitoring, and updates
- Server software, OS and virtualisation management, monitoring, and updates
- Network management and monitoring (e.g. network switches, leased lines, etc.)
- Internal backup and DR management
- Security updates of devices
- Application Support
Skills and experience required:
- Microsoft Active Directory and supporting services (DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc)
- Azure AD and knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint)
- VMware vCenter
- Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid)
- Cisco network support experience
- Microsoft Windows server
- Virtual and physical datacentre server environment
