IT Access Administrator – Cheadle – Up to £42k
On behalf of our rapidly growing client based in Cheadle, we are recruiting for an enthusiastic IT Access Administrator. As IT Access Administrator, you will manage system permissions for all internal colleagues in the business, they will be working closely with the Service Desk, liaising with other technical resolver teams and business stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
The IT Access Administrator will be responsible for:
- Completion of all new starters, movers & leavers adhering to strict policy/procedure
- Responsible for the maintenance of role-based access control (RBAC) including audit requests, AD templates, liaising with Senior Managers on permission sets for new job roles, and ensuring all new starters have the associated new starter form from People Team
- Work with Senior Managers to regularly recertify all existing colleagues and document role-based permissions
- Regularly perform Active Directory housekeeping duties to keep the OU hierarchy clear of stale, unused, expired, and other no longer needed objects; documented and presented any improvements for approval
- Ensure all Active Directory accounts are set up within the correct location and required fields completed such as an accurate description, manager assigned, job title recorded, the department recorded, location, profile (personal drive) configured
The IT Access Administrator will have the following:
- Strong understanding of best practices in Active Directory management, on-premise and Azure
- Experience in a Role-Based Access Management role or similar
- Motivated, self-driven individuals, capable of working on their own initiative
- Ability to deliver to tight timescales, changing priorities & policy requirements
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
