IT Infrastructure Engineer – Lancaster – Up to £35k
On behalf of our growing client based in Lancaster, we are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Engineer. As IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will ideally be an expert in Microsoft 365 or Amazon Web Services and have a range of technical knowledge in infrastructure, security, and networks.
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will manage and support the following technologies/areas:
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft 365/Azure
- Microsoft Intune
- Networking – Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Wireless
- Server Virtualisation using VMWare
- Storage Technologies (SAN)
- Windows Servers and Windows Clients
- Linux Server
- IT security – Access Management, Cyber Essentials
- Backups and Disaster Recovery
- Cloud Telephony
The IT Infrastructure Engineer will have the following:
- Experience in supporting cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365
- Experience in provisioning and support devices using Microsoft Intune
- Experience in maintaining multiple IT services, including servers/networks/telephony
- Experience in supporting Microsoft products and server architecture
- Knowledge of storage (SAN) technology
- Experience in delivering and communicating IT Infrastructure changes
- Understanding of IT security concepts and best practice
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
