IT Licence and Procurement Specialist – Remote – Up to £45k
On behalf of our global client, we are recruiting for a talented IT License and Procurement Specialist. As IT Licence and Procurement Specialist, you will focus on software licensing, ensuring products and services are purchased in the most cost and time-efficient manner. As well as be responsible for evaluating contracts and vendors; making final recommendations regarding suppliers.
The IT License and Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:
- Create and implement regional IT procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry
- Build long-term relationships with IT vendors (hardware, software, and service) and critical suppliers
- The ability to translate software license arrangements/terms into tactical action plans thereby delivering the most value for the business.
- Responsible for the review and challenge to business cases for new software products or renewals by comparing existing usage and application to available vendor options
- Compare proposals for price and specifications
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms where possible
- Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility
- Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
The IT License and Procurement Specialist will have the following:
- Strong experience in a procurement role with a specific focus on technology and software license procurement
- Strong self-directed work habits exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance, and professionalism
- Must demonstrate the highest level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality - to be always exercised
- Proven track record for delivering results
- Strong, customer-oriented communication style with the ability to collaborate across a global team environment
- Advanced analytical and decision-making skills
- The ability to work accurately paying close attention to detail
