IT Manager – Wilmslow – Circa £45k
On behalf of our growing client based in Wilmslow, we are recruiting for an enthusiastic IT Manager. As IT Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supporting the business with IT-related activities. You will determine the needs of the business and will be responsible for implementing IT equipment and systems to fulfil the business’s information system requirements.
The IT Manager will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the IT helpdesk management for all IT related incidents
- Managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support of the business IT systems and equipment. This includes operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones, and peripherals
- Providing expert IT advice and support when systems are being upgraded or installed, or when system migrations or system maintenances are being carried out
- Overseeing the development and enhancement of systems and integrating new systems with existing
- Working with senior staff to develop plans and strategies so user effectiveness is improved, and innovation encouraged throughout the business
- Liaising regularly with executive and senior management as well as systems users
The IT Manager will have the following:
- Strong experience with experience in IT management or a senior IT position
- Ability to lead projects and delivery within programmed timescales
- Management and support of Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Firewalls, Azure AD, Microsoft Exchange Online, Cyber Security Solutions for Windows 10 Desktop Environments, and macOS
- Strong hands-on IT support experience
- Hands-on IT infrastructure experience, and ideally a strong technical background providing onsite & remote support.
