IT Operations Analyst – Manchester – Up to £25k
On behalf of our leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for an enthusiastic IT Operations Analyst.
The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for:
- Monitoring IT systems, escalating any anomalies to the relevant teams
- End to end incident management of tickets being raised through the Service Desk portal
- Answering emails within the SLA response times, utilizing the ticketing systems to track faults and requests
- Resolving hardware and software issues, performing new starter setups, ordering equipment, and completing user amendments
- Reviewing unresolved issues daily, chasing progress on behalf of the customer.
- Providing a high level of customer service face to face, over the phone and via email.
The IT Operations Analyst will have the following:

- The ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, and constantly evolving environment
- A logical, methodical approach to analysing faults and solving problems, with keen attention to detail
- Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst showing initiative and considering the wider impact
- A collaborative approach, consulting widely and communicating effectively to all levels within the organisations
- A natural ability to learn quickly and to easily absorb technical knowledge
- Self-motivated team player with a ‘can-do attitude
