IT Service Desk Analyst - Sheffield
Our client, situated in Sheffield, is currently in search of a Service Desk Analyst.
They are looking for a meticulous and proactive Service Desk Analyst to temporarily cover for a team member on maternity leave.
You will play a pivotal role within our IT department, serving as the initial point of contact for our users and ensuring seamless and efficient IT support throughout our organisation. Working within a small team and reporting to the Group IT Manager, your responsibilities will include the triage of IT support tickets, with the goal of achieving a first-touch fix for approximately 300 users globally.
Responsibilities:
- Helpdesk Support: Address IT service desk tickets, providing solutions and guidance for end-user issues.
- Asset Rollout/Management: Supervise the deployment, management, and upkeep of IT hardware and software assets.
- Multi-Site Support: Offer IT support across various sites, guaranteeing the connectivity and smooth operation of all our locations.
- Project Support: Participate in IT projects, following instructions and working independently to ensure successful completion.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with both internal and external customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Service-focused mindset.
- Experience supporting IT within an organisation.
- Previous experience in a service desk or helpdesk environment is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with networking, Windows environments, and hardware.
- Familiarity with servers and Office 365.
- Microsoft Intune experience would be a distinct advantage.
