IT Support Engineer- Manchester Circa £30K
Adria Solutions Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join one of our leading clients in Manchester. You will work with the various departments to support the business IT infrastructure and software systems. This involves the project work, day to day maintenance and queries/requests from the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with organisation members across the board to further develop company IT strategy to include company’s security and backup policies for internal infrastructure
- Assist with adopted tools, accounts and software across the organisation, such as G Suite, Bitbucket, Jira, AWS, etc.
- Maintain company’s infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and virtual environments of both Windows and Linux environments.
- Management of mixed platform desktop estate (Mac, Windows, Linux)
- Monitor system health to ensure efficient running of business IT facilities to maintain business continuity and to ensure appropriate disaster recovery plan is in place and up to date.
- Day to day maintenance of systems including backups (using Veeam technology), antivirus, updates etc.
Essential Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- In-depth knowledge of Desktop Hardware and internal components
- Experience with G Suite and administration of accounts over multiple systems, including Active Directory
- Experience in an IT Service Desk tool(s)
- Experience with Cloud technologies. I.E. AWS, Microsoft Azure
