IT/Systems Manager

My Client, a dynamic and growing family-run eCommerce business, is looking for an IT/Systems Manager to join their team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and development of their mission-critical IT systems.

As the IT/Systems Manager, you will work closely with the IT and management teams, supporting and improving all aspects of the IT infrastructure. You will also collaborate across departments to enhance business processes, troubleshoot system incidents, and implement technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine system monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT system incidents efficiently.
Assist in software development and system architecture.
Evaluate and test software applications.
Produce clear and concise technical documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
A technical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Development experience (e.g. C#, MVC, Blazor, HTML, JavaScript).
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of SQL, scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell), and web technologies.
A continuous improvement approach to IT and business processes.

This is a hybrid role requiring occasional on-site presence at two locations (approximately 10 miles apart).
