Java Developer
On behalf of our growing client based in Manchester, we are recruiting three talented Java Developers. As a Java Developer, you will further develop their core telephony systems and work with cutting-edge technologies.
The Java Developer will be responsible for:
- The development of Java applications and their integration with back-end services.
- You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
- Designing and implementing good software code
- Present ideas to their peers and management.
The Java Developer will have the following:
- Strong Java development experience
- Exposure to message-driven architectures, Kafka, or event sourcing
- Relational database skills
- In-depth knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and other de-facto-standard technologies, including open-source frameworks
- Experience working with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL/etc.)
- Understanding of integration architecture and design skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience providing peer code reviews and a natural desire to lead by example
