Junior PHP Developer – Stockport - £25,000 to £30,000

Adria Solutions are searching for a Junior PHP Developer.
The Junior PHP Developer will join a growing team of Developers and Testers working on an extensive, complex web application, driven by microservices.
There is potential to gain further experience working with the following technologies:
PHP, MYSQL, SQL Server, NodeJS, Golang, Kafka, Apache Spark, Docker, Dot Net Core, MongoDB.
Daily Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
• Day to day maintenance of existing and future Software.
• Accurately estimate works to be undertaken.
• Work as a core part of a small Agile Team to deliver usable functionality to the business.
• Undertake code reviews, as appropriate for the Agile Team.
• Contribute effectively to team technical discussions
Ideal Candidate:
• Hold prior exposure to, or understanding of, Standard Development & Agile Practices.
• Passion for technology, adaptable and self-motivated.
• Experience working within small teams on well-defined projects.
• Excellent work ethic and time management skills, as well as being able to get up to speed with new projects quickly and deliver to deadlines as required.
• Exposure and understanding of:
- Either PHP or Dot Net Core.
- Git SCM.
- Relational Databases.
- Docker and how to utilize it in the Development Cycle.
