My client is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 & Azure Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft 365 and Azure expertise who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with outstanding customer service.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll support both internal Microsoft 365 infrastructure and external clients, acting as a technical escalation point while helping to deliver seamless onboarding experiences for new customers. The Role

As the Microsoft 365 & Azure Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting Microsoft cloud environments while providing technical expertise to both internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and core Azure services.
Monitoring system health, investigating technical issues and implementing configuration changes.
Managing identity, access management and security best practices across Microsoft 365 environments.
Using PowerShell to automate administration, deployments and routine maintenance tasks.
Acting as the technical point of contact for client Microsoft 365 and Azure queries.
Supporting the onboarding of new customers, configuring Microsoft 365 tenants and resolving technical issues.
Acting as the technical escalation point for both the Support and Onboarding teams.
Producing and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles and client configuration records.
Advising customers on Microsoft 365 best practice and helping them maximise the value of their cloud environment.

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you'll have strong experience across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem, including:

Essential

Microsoft 365 administration
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
SharePoint Online administration, configuration and permissions
Microsoft Azure administration
PowerShell scripting and automation
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable

Exchange Online
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Purview
Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft certifications (Azure and/or Microsoft 365)
