Principal Mobile Engineers – Fully Remote - £100k
On behalf of our market-leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for an experienced Principal Mobile Engineer. As Principal Mobile Engineer, you will be a firm believer in delivering high-quality software and be passionate about constructing a new mobile application team by hiring the best people worldwide.
The Principal Mobile Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading a small, Agile team, where continuous improvement isn’t a bumper sticker; it’s a part of the culture.
- Build-in safety to move fast by working in small increments, writing testable, maintainable, deployable code, and getting continuous feedback from your team and customers.
- Supporting your colleagues to succeed in their careers, enhancing their technical skillsets through high-quality engineering practices and enabling them to realise their career ambitions.
- Collaborating with your Product peer to understand the problem at hand and work with your team to choose the best technology and design approach to solve it.
The Principal Mobile Engineer will have the following:
- Exceptional end-to-end experience delivering iOS or Android apps.
- Solid understanding of common design patterns and when to use them.
- Experience leveraging cross-platform frameworks. React Native is a significant plus.
- Demonstrable experience utilizing clean coding practices.
- Experience mentoring, leading, and managing people.
- Excellent communication skills, in both a technical and business capacity.
- Awareness of AWS and its ecosystem.
