Product Owner – Hybrid Working
On behalf of our industry-leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for an experienced Product Owner. As Product Owner, you will develop new software product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product designs that reflect market and user requirements.
The Product Owner will be responsible for:
- Serve as a voice for the customers on new or already existing products.
- Highlight product features in a manner clearly understandable to the development team.
- Manage and develop product backlog, as well as user stories backlog for implementation.
- Attend sprint planning and demo meetings to give feedback on sprint achievement, as well as to the scrum team.
- Monitor the progress of product development, as well as plan for product release.
- Provide reports to update management and stakeholders on product development operations.
- Develop and implement action plans for building and sustaining demand for a product.
- Ensure implemented product features add value to end-users and increase company returns.
- Serve as a technical product expert for sales, client support, and other departments, and support the new release process.
The Product Owner will have the following:
- Previous Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
- Experience with modern web technologies (restful and web services, native mobile apps, relational and non-relational database-driven applications).
- Demonstrated success in Scrum-driven Agile development environment, including user story creation.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with members of Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Product Management.
