Product Owner – Birmingham.
Our UK-based client is currently looking for an experienced Product Owner. You will be translating business requirements and operational changes into product features putting the customer at the heart of the process and acting as the glue between strategy business operations, IT, and third-party systems partners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise product backlogs across enterprise platforms and digital customer portals.
- Translate business strategies into tasks working with the development team to execute the business’s strategic goals and priorities.
- Draft and refine user stories into tasks that the development team can execute.
- Work with the business to learn about what problems they are aiming to solve and what customer needs or desires have informed their product strategy.
- Work with the development team to arrange and prioritise sprints.
- Evaluate progress at each stage of development.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in Product Owner / Manager role within re-mortgage, legal or financial services, or similar high-volume regulated environments
- Have the ability to translate business requirements into a format that can be understood across technical environments
- Experience in backlog management in accordance with business value
- Experience working with external third-party technology partners within agile product development environments
- Know how to execute to get products and improvements launched
