Project Infrastructure Engineer – Stockport - £45k
On behalf of our growing client based in Stockport, we are recruiting for an experienced Project Infrastructure Engineer.
The Project Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
- Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies that help push the business forward
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers
- Creating proper data folder structure on dedicated data volume and configuring/maintaining file system permissions
- Building a new AD environment
- Install and configure Exchange Server
- Migration of premise services to 365 (mail, documents)
The Project Infrastructure Engineer will have the following:
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Able to demonstrate experience in managing multiple projects across a variety of platforms
- Able to attend site for onboarding, installation, troubleshooting etc.
- Able to act as a point of contact for any issues, incidents, or problems, including escalated support tickets
- Expert in Active Directory Management
- Good working knowledge of Exchange 2016
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud-based products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint)
