Project Manager - £55k – Chorley
On behalf of our growing client based in Chorley, we are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager. As Project Manager, you will manage the day-to-day activities associated with Projects & Change with business stakeholders and IT professionals to define requirement changes that, once implemented, will help the stakeholders to achieve their goals.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Own changes/projects from the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring the proposal and development of effective solutions are in line with business and system strategies.
- To plan and manage the day-to-day activities of a change, while tracking the delivery from the initial request, through to post-implementation tasks.
- Deliver all project management related artefacts required for the correct level of governance within the Change framework. Identify project issues and risks, escalating where appropriate, with a view to producing a delivery capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Business Case.
- Communicate, influence, and build relationships at all levels within the organization. This includes relationship management of key stakeholders and senior managers.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task, data/process modelling, and workflow analysis
The Project Manager will have the following:
- Strong Project Management experience
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical parties
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable working knowledge of IT Systems and Technology
- Ability to facilitate and enable collaborative change discussions.
