QA Automation Engineer - Stockport - £45K
Adria Solutions Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our market leading client in Stockport. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will responsible for delivering high quality automated test practices for all systems for our client.
The duties of the QA Automation Engineer will include but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with engineers to assure that testing requirements are clear and well documented prior to development.
- Write efficient automated test plans and automated test cases that meet the company objectives.
- Work with product owners to prioritize tasks.
- Create living documentation for testing allowing knowledge sharing between teams and global offices
- Discover, isolate, and document development defects as well as participate in or lead Root Cause Analyses.
- Disseminate test results, working to improve tests when features are expanded and perform exploratory testing.
Essential skills and experience:
- direct experience functioning in a quality assurance environment
- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and Automation testing of web and client-server applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of structured testing and thorough understanding of quality assurance testing applications and concepts.
- Experience with creating and automating happy path and unit tests for JavaScript and API endpoints.
- Proactively takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of accountability.
- Secure testing practices and familiarity with OWASP.
