Full Stack Developer (Javascript, Node JS) – Sheffield / Remote – £50k - £65k
Interviewing and onboarding for this role will be going ahead remotely while Covid-19 restrictions are in place.
On behalf of our rapidly growing client based in Sheffield, we are currently recruiting for an experienced full stack Javascript developer. This role offers remote working but would require 1-2 days a week office based.
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for:
- Product oriented thinking; reworking and keeping up with current standards
- Driving technical design, code professionalism and innovation
- Reporting progress and identifying, escalating, and removing obstacles that might endanger the agreed release date
- Mentoring 2 mid-level developers
- Active team participation including attending daily SCRUM meetings
- Providing input to technical writers
- Assisting functional and technical testers
The Full stack developer will have:
- Strong capabilities in native JavaScript, DOM
- Experience with HTML, CSS, LESS, TypeScript, Redux, rxjs
- Familiar with one of the modern frameworks (react, angular, vue).
- Understand concept of code testing; know what should be test, what should not.
- Experience in web application development, both client and server side
Desirable
- Experience with using a content management system
- Experience with agile development
- Experience with XML, XPATH, DITA
- Knowledge of XML Editors like oXygen XML Editor, JustSystems XMetaL, Arbortext Editor
