Principal Product Lead - Fully Remote Working
On behalf of our global client based in Cheshire, we are recruiting for an exceptional Principal Product Lead. As Principal Product Lead you will lead the product team as well as work with internal stakeholders including Strategy, Market Insight and Senior Leadership to help define the technical product roadmap and identify opportunities for competitive differentiation.
The Principal Product Lead will be responsible for:
- Define and Champion Product Strategy and Vision, with emphasis on market position, competitive stance, industry trends, and customer insight
- Provide key input into the technical Product Roadmap and Statement of Direction
- Set and drive OKR’s for the product line and underlying product teams
- Lead the team to create prioritised feature categories with clearly defined added value
- Ensure that the Product team is focused and making progress on OKR’s. Take corrective action when required.
- Lead the Product team to execute its role in the SDLC, UAT, business acceptance and readiness activities associated with General Availability
- Manage the team (3-5 employees) on a day-to-day basis from a performance and ongoing career development perspective
The Principal Product Lead will have the following:
- A Solid appreciation of the product management discipline developed over significant time spent in a similar role or with demonstrable experience
- Solid business acumen and the ability to conceptualize product and service offerings
- Technical acumen and ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business teams to accomplish project goals
- A deep understanding of advanced technologies with demonstrable experience of implementing those technologies to solve problems for users and create a competitive advantage
- An entrepreneur’s mindset, always hungry to find the next big opportunity in the market
- A drive to tackle the most difficult challenges and look for solutions that aren’t always obvious
