Senior Ruby Developer – Remote Working – Up to £110K
On behalf of our industry-leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for a talented Senior Ruby Developer. As Senior Ruby Developer, you will support existing developers in their day-to-day work on the UK Ruby on Rails application, which will include new features, bug fixes and addressing technical debt.
The Senior Ruby Developer will be responsible for:
- Working on New features; Iterative improvements to existing features; Bug fixes
- Following the team's existing best practices, standards, and way of working
- Writing Clean, Maintainable and Efficient code
- Actively participating in discussions around improvements, both at an architecture and process level
- Working as a team to solve problems
The Senior Ruby Developer will have the following:
- Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript / HTML / CSS
- TDD
- JQuery
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
- Solid understanding of MVC techniques
- Version control, Git
- PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Working in an Agile environment
- Excellent communicator
