Senior Server Engineer – Remote - £60k
On behalf of our market-leading client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for a Senior Server Engineer. As Senior Server Engineer, you will make technical decisions relating to the implementation of a technical design as well as delegate development tasks within a team.
The Senior Server Engineer will be responsible for:
- Contribute to design documentation, assess the suitability of designs for ease of implementation.
- Create development plans for a complete project including the breakdown and estimation of tasks
- Mentor and guide more junior software engineers in technical issues.
- Agree with developer test strategy for project policy.
- Perform code reviews in line with project policy.
The Senior Server Engineer will have the following:
- An expert in developing server-based software solutions in one or more of the following languages: NodeJS, .Net, Java
- The ability to commission and deploy to hosting environments in one or more of the following cloud providers; AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience in technically leading a project, from discovery, to design, development, and delivery.
- Knowledge and appreciation of project NFRs; code quality, performance, and security considerations.
