Senior Software Developer – Manchester - £50k
On behalf of our rapidly growing client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for a talented Senior Software Developer. As a Senior Software Developer, you will help and coach others with their work, as well as working on your own code. You will contribute to the overall success of the team, with a focus on the team rather than individual delivery.
The Senior Software Developer will:
With an exciting and varied product roadmap ahead, the role of Senior Software Developer will have quite an open scope. You will have the option to get involved with a wide range of projects, ranging from full-stack web development, API development, mobile app development and even machine learning applications.
The Senior Software Developer will have the following:
- Experience with working with some of the following tech stacks: Azure, AWS, React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Good communication and writing skills including experience writing technical documentation
- You want to work across a range of tech environments. Your priorities will be building new systems and improving stability, security and efficiency
- You are comfortable operating in an Agile environment with good working knowledge in areas such as CI/CD, build pipelines, testing and architecture
- You are don’t mind moving between front-end and back-end technologies, even if one of these domains is not your core expertise
- Work on enterprise-scale software development projects across multiple sectors including eCommerce, financial services and the public sector
- Champion industry best-practice including TDD, BDD and Agile software development
- Be a role model for junior and mid-level developers in the team, assisting with their mentoring and career development plans
