Adria Solutions Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a flexible Senior Software Developer to join our market-leading client in Manchester. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be involved in the design, the architecture of new software, as well as improvement of the existing software for our client.
The duties of the Senior Software Developer will include:
- Deliver features using agile development practices and by writing beautiful, maintainable code in the front and back end of our systems.
- Work under a TDD mindset with regression testing at the heart of your development strategy.
- Partner with your colleagues in Pair Programming and Code Reviews.
- Contribute to the estimation and implementation of user stories/requirements helping to shape their technical design, UX, and implementation.
- Produce code against our set of defined technical standards and processes.
- Working in an Agile team, lots of flexibility and autonomy in the role from a development point of view
The Senior Software Developer will have the following:
- Excellent coding experience in Java or C#, and willing to cross-train from .NET into Java
- Agile and Microservices
- Docker, Kubernetes ECS, etc
- Cloud development experience would be desirable
- JavaScript front end development such as GatsbyJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, etc is desirable
