Senior Software Platforms Engineer – Manchester – Up to £70k
On behalf of our most well-known clients, we are recruiting for an experienced Senior Software Platforms Engineer.
The Senior Software Platforms Engineer will be responsible for mentoring and helping grow the other engineers. You will play a vital role in shaping your team's technical direction and the wider engineering department. As well as own the solutions that you create from inception to production and beyond.
The Senior Software Platform Engineer will be expected to have/be the following:
- Demonstrable experience in technical delivery and Agile methodologies
- Experience in object-oriented software development, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Our client are fans of the following technologies so any experience with these would be fantastic: C#, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch
- You are a software craftsperson and strongly believe in producing high quality, resilient code
- You collaborate by default and are a natural mentor
