Solution Architect – Fully Remote – Up to £100k
On behalf of our market-leading client based in Chester, we are recruiting for an exceptional Solution Architect. As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the creation and championing of solution designs and standards that bring together the variety of location solutions in easy-to-use services and capabilities for both customers and internal teams.
You will work closely with the CTO and be responsible for the high-level detailed design and technical implementation of our clients core platform and services.
The Solution Architect will have the following:
- Hands-on experience designing & implementing scalable & observable microservices-based architectures and the ability to understand how a wide variety of technologies and systems interact with each other.
- Experience building decoupled architectures and/or distributed systems
- Experience in defining and developing message-driven workflows
- Strong experience in cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Deep understanding of different programming paradigms and their application (OOP, Functional, Event-driven, Actor-based)
- Strong experience with 1 or more of the following languages (C++, C#, Java, Scala, Golang, Rust)
- Knowledge of 1 or more of the following languages (Python, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby)
- Good knowledge of SQL and non-SQL database technologies and their appropriate application
