SQL Server DBA - Manchester
On behalf of our expanding client, we are looking for two experienced SQL Server DBA in Manchester. An opportunity is available for a skilled SQL Server DBA to join a growing and leading software business based near Manchester.
Our client's platform has grown and evolved, and a requirement for a full-time database specialist has emerged. The role will be varied, challenging, and critical to our platform's ongoing performance and scalability to ensure customer satisfaction.
The skills and responsibilities of a SQL Server DBA are:
- Work with the development team to design, optimize and implement SQL Server solutions for the product platform Engage in server management, configuration, and optimization
- Ensure that databases are functioning optimally and are scalable
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or above
- Design and implementation of database schema, stored procedures, indexes, triggers
- Management of SQL Server including server configuration, optimization, and backups
