Systems Administrator – Manchester – Up to £50k
Adria Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Systems Administrator to join a growing company based in Manchester. As a Systems Administrator, you will collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
The duties of the Systems Administrator will include:
- Assist in the design and development of infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
- Help develop deployment and automation frameworks in collaboration with the rest of the team
- Scripting monitoring checks
- Backups and recovery schedule
- Imaging/configuring staff machines
- Assist in the smooth running of infrastructure
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
- Familiarity with Linux scripting languages e.g. Bash, Perl
- Familiar with fundamental Linux commands
- Proficient with network tools such as Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc
- Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
- Some experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache/Nginx, MySQL
