Systems Administrator – Macclesfield - £25-£35k
This consultancy is recruiting for a systems administrator with previous commercial experience to join their team.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for:
- The configuration, installation and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
- The installation and hardening of laptops, thin clients and servers.
- The maintenance of VPN and firewall appliances,
- The creation, support and removal of user accounts,
- The maintenance of VoIP infrastructure,
- Supporting penetration testing team in conducting network and application penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
The Systems Administrator will have:
- A strong understanding of Linux and Windows,
- Previous commercial experience with open-source technologies such as pfSense and Proxmox,
- Experience working with MS Office 365
- Experience in creating users in active directory
- Proven experience with networking and firewalling,
Knowledge and/or experience of AWS/Azure would be beneficial as would the desire to move into penetration testing.
