Technical Project Manager 

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our client as a Technical Project Manager. This pivotal role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving innovation, and enhancing business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between business units and IT, ensuring technology aligns with business goals.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of business operations, objectives, and challenges.
  • Engage in strategic planning to prioritise technology requirements.
  • Collect and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with IT to design and implement scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve successful project implementation.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address issues.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Communicate project status and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Skills and Experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, IT Project Manager, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent project management skills with a successful track record in delivering technology projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on delivering innovative solutions.

Desirable Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to the retail industry.
