Technical Support Engineer – Birmingham – Up to £26k

On behalf of our award-winning client based in Birmingham, we are recruiting five Technical Support Engineers. As Technical Support Engineer, you will educate new customers, help solve technical problems and ensure smooth adoption of our client's products, whilst working with your team to reach monthly targets and customer SLAs.

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Provide first-line support to the end-user and train the end-user, through a phone call, live chat, and video chat (potentially in person, should the opportunity arise)
  • Closing tickets and working with your team to reach CSAT and SLA targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales, compliance, and accounts team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business processes.
  • Establish strong relationships with new customers and deepen existing relationships
  • Work with Cloud Switch and providers to ensure the best VOIP routing for customers

The Technical Support Engineer will have the following:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • A professional approach followed by a strong understanding of the English language to craft-friendly, personal, and professional messages.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skill
